Setco Automotive U.K. Ltd is a subsidiary of the Indian Setco Automotive Ltd, a premier manufacturer of clutch products for the automotive and hydraulic products for the construction equipment industry. Headquartered in Mumbai, India, Setco has around 650 employees based in two manufacturing facilities in India, and one each in North America and the United Kingdom.

The Challenge

Facilitating Global Collaboration and Securing Intellectual Property

Based in Haslingden, Lancashire, Setco's UK facility is fully integrated into the Setco group and operates manufacturing and warehouse facilities. In addition the company is also the R&D hub for Setco's clutch products and technology provider to the group globally. With intensifying competition in the global automotive industry, improving team collaboration between the Setco sites and also between Setco and its customers, suppliers and joint venture partners was an imperative requirement to boost productivity.
