The Network Administrator position supports and oversees the administration, management and maintenance of computer network systems and data circuits.

Essential Functions
- Technical support for end users.
- Build and deploy notebooks, servers and virtual machines.
- Manage and maintain system backups.
- Efficiently troubleshoot LAN and WAN connections.
- Support the security of the network from external intrusions.
- Create network documentation manuals and procedure manuals and ensure updates are performed as needed.
- Provide backup support for related positions as needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills Required
- Associates degree or certificate program in information technology.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft domain infrastructures. MCSE, MCSA preferred.
- Knowledge of Cisco firewalls, routers, CSU/DSU's, switches.
- Knowledge of various network protocols, specifically TCP/IP.
- VM knowledge ESXi and Hyper-v.
- Working knowledge of PC / server hardware and associated operation systems, specifically Microsoft Windows 7 and 2003.
- Working knowledge of client / server technologies preferred.
- Exchange 2003.
- Base knowledge of Linux OS.
