TRUquality’s eMMA Reporter in production - quality control including production
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Trubiquity, a leading international provider of global managed data exchange (MDE) and business process integration solutions for companies across many industries, completed the development of eMMA Reporter (enhanced Measurement Management Application), Trubiquity’s new solution for Measurement Data Management. eMMA Reporter enables the control of vehicle production line manufacturing quality, based off the tolerance of product design data, within all assembly stages and manufacturing cells. The solution was developed, in cooperation with BMW Group, through TruQuality GmbH, a 100 percent subsidiary company of Trubiquity, and is now in production at BMW’s manufacturing facilities in Dingolfing and Regensburg, Germany. Additional locations will follow.
TruQuality implemented new technologies when developing eMMA Reporter, including a web browser user interface to leverage quality control and analysis, through real-time monitoring, via the company intranet. The intuitive user interface allows authorized users unambiguous real-time error detection, error tracking and analysis. Various charts are available to illustrate deviations and trends against design tolerance in every assembly step of the vehicle. At a glance, users can see the percentage of the measuring point measurement values that are out of tolerance. Also, management can monitor the quality process of the complete production line at any time.
“The outstanding benefit of eMMA Reporter is that it identifies and points out production errors very quickly. Early detection and analysis of errors provides the opportunity to make timely countermeasures. This could prevent very expensive production line interruptions”, said Mr. Siegfried Heinz, TruQuality’s Managing Director.
