Trubiquity Launches Digital Asset Delivery Community for Global Automotive OEM
SaaS-based TRUexchange and TRUcore SOA enables rapid deployment and secure collaboration for major auto manufacturer and its marketing community
Troy, Mich. – October 6, 2011 – Trubiquity, a leading provider of global Managed File Transfer (MFT) and business process integration solutions, has completed implementation of a digital asset delivery community for the marketing organization of a global automotive OEM. The community, built-on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform of Trubiquity’s TRUexchange large file exchange system and TRUcore service oriented architecture (SOA), provides a centralized channel for the OEM’s global marketing team, vendors and partners to share large digital media files quickly and securely.
Rapid deployment and secure collaboration are key benefits of the TRUexchange SaaS-based delivery model, reducing time to market and providing a holistic collaboration solution that integrates into clients’ existing business processes and information systems. Launching on Trubiquity’s SaaS-based MFT platform, the automotive OEM worked closely with Trubiquity to deploy the digital asset delivery community in a prompt two weeks, enabling community management and secure collaboration with a network of more than 2,000 vendors and partners.
“Trubiquity has provided solutions to accelerate the design and engineering process for our strategic OEM client historically, and we are very pleased to provide a similar capability to help its sales and marketing community to be first-to-market and compete more efficiently,” said Stephen Koons, Chief Executive Officer for Trubiquity.
A recent report from research analysts at Gartner indicates that successful MFT providers are increasingly deploying more strategic-level B2B integration projects like the asset delivery community, often with several hundred to a few thousand trading partners and integration with SOA platforms. The report also projects future growth in demand for such projects as companies seek new technologies for file transfer and requirements expand for operational control, security and checkpoints.
“The launch of the digital asset delivery community for our global OEM customer required a truly collaborative effort that crossed several functional areas and involved a high degree of customer interaction,” said Martyn Davies, Vice President. “Trubiquity is a strategic partner for this OEM and now TRUexchange enables secure large file exchange within multiple business areas including supplier sourcing, product design and now marketing.”
